Our Story

A decade of yoga on Main Street.

This yoga studio was first brought to Kennett by Ashley Shepard and Kerri Gates in August 2013. It was later operated by Kerri Gates and Jennifer McCormick. While the name of the studio and the location changed, the yoga remained the same.

Lesley Lynn opened Yoga on Main in March 2023 in the current location — a historic building just off the courthouse square — continuing a steady, welcoming practice for the Kennett community.

The Building

A historic home, just off the square.

Our studio lives inside one of Kennett's historic Main Street buildings, a short walk from the courthouse square. The pressed-tin cornice, tall storefront windows, and original wood floors are part of the practice.

It's an old, generous space — and we've tried to honor it: simple, quiet, and full of light.

Our Philosophy

Grounded, generous, and human.

We teach with care for alignment and curiosity for what your body needs today. No judgment, no rush — just steady guidance and warm community.

Our teachers come from a range of lineages and bring a shared belief: that a regular practice can quiet the mind, soften the body, and steady the heart.
